'Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again'

'Outdoor pool was open mid September but we did not use. Spent most of our time at the Chincoteague beach. I only interfaced with the staff on checkin and checkout.'

'De kamers waren in orde. Koelkastje en eigenlijk alles wat hè nodig hebt. Het pand zelf ziet er beetje verwaarloosd uit. De reling van het balkon is hier en daar kapot, niet geheel veilig. Het ontbijt is naar onze Europese begrippen erg matig. De ijsblokjes machine deed het wel maar zag er vies uit. '

'This is an older beach town. Most of the properties are older motels. I think that is very quaint though. Very pet friendly. Very nice staff. The coffee shop right next door excellent!!!'

'Staying in a "floating" bungalow was unique. Warning to those with mobility issues: it is not very easy to get up and onto the porch. It was quite a long walk on narrow, floating piers to get to the bungalow we were staying in, then it's a large step up from the floating pier onto the porch, especially during low tide. Maybe those folks that take the reservations should ask customers if they have mobility issues before making the reservation.'

'Clean rooms, nice ocean view. Quick response when our TV was not working right. Had to put a security deposit on room even when room was paid for, paid for parking which I did not think that was right other motels do not charge for parking.'

'For just a weekend location is good, clean and family friendly'
