'What you may not know about this property is that it is directly across a beach frequented by the locals. This beach has a smooth pebbleless entry point. A perfect place to swim laps. The sea seems a little calmer here than further down the stretch, There is also little swimming ‘holes’ created by formations in the rocks. The hotel is complete with lounges and umbrellas. Just a short walk, maybe a half a mile, and you come across the more popular beach areas complete with restaurants....

'Goede kamer en bedden, wel weinig ruimte voor de bagage en kleine badkamer. Rustige omgeving. Goede en snelle communicatie. Koffie/thee/water inclusief en gemeenschappelijke koelkast en gebruik van borden/bestek en glazen. En er is een tosti ijzer. Goed adres voor overnachten voor vertrek en aankomst luchthaven.'

'De kamer was ruim, smaakvol ingericht en zeer schoon. Zo ook de doucheruimte en het toilet. Bed ruim en comfortabel. De ligging is ideaal: in een van de meest bruisende wijken van Athene met gedurende de dag en ook ‘s avonds veel vertier. Met zicht op de, op loopafstand gelegen, Acropolis. De ontvangst is aller hartelijkst en men is uiterst behulpzaam. Plekken om te ontbijten zijn in de buurt ruim voorhanden want daarin wordt niet voorzien wat geen gemis is. Kortom een absolute aanrader'

'This was very remote, off the beaten path with zero reception. The driver said he had 50 years driving in Athens as a professional and was worried for me, he went to investigate if it was an actual place I could stay in. The person there seemed irritated, raised his voice because I could not understand the WiFi password (there were two written passwords & he could not explain which of the two options it was- it was the 2nd one). There was a dog barking several times throughout the night right...

'The apartment works for a quick stay. It is not luxurious and it has bare minimum toiletries. A 15min drive from the airport with a restaurant abd grocery store within a 2 min walk. I did not like that if you stay on the ground floor your access is from the side door that goes to the street and if you book on a high floor with 2 rooms, some do not have elevator access. The host was accommodating and attentive, but the place really does not reflect the luxury that is shown in the pictures. Beds...

'The hotel was beautiful, spacious, unique and lovely. The staff was wonderful in helping recommend activities and restaurants that were authentic. My only complaint is that if you are a light sleeper the street noise is very loud. They do provide ear plugs for sleeping.'
