'We (family of 4 with 2 small children) had a lovely stay at this cottage! Very friendly landlord and beautiful welcome package. Basic amenities to get you started straight after arrival like tea, suggar, milk, bread. Ideally situated in a quiet area with horse paddock right next to the cottage. Underfloor heating was very cozy, modern cooking area.'

'It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated. As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful cleaner who was still on the premises, who was able to arrange for an alternative room. Although better, the room did not...

'Really enjoyed our stay, we felt the spa but it was quite crowded only small number of sunbeds. Room was nice but it was quite dated.'

'Not the first, and won't be the last time I have stayed here. Very cosy pub, good food, friendly staff and comfi bedroom with easy parking. What else could you wish for? On this occasion, I even was able to help them with a beer dispense issue (my previous profession) so a good stay all round. Looking forward to my next stay.'
