'Room was well appointed and the staff was excellently professional as one would expect from a 5 star hotel. Location was next to and connected by a bridge with the landmark Sky Tower and a short 15 minute walk to the waterfront, ferries etc. Restaurant (the Grill) served excellent breakfast selection. We spent a wonderful week at the Horizon Hotel.'

'Greeted by friendly welcoming staff. Smooth and easy check in. We had paid for room prior to arrival. Our group was wanting parking for our vehicle. I did not request this at the time of booking. By the time we had arrived at accommodation, there were no spots left. The staff kindly advised that the carpark across the road could accommodate us. 'Fantastic place to stay in Auckland! This hotel is a mere 5 minute walk from the SkyBus stop to the airport which made it extremely convenient for us. The staff were helpful, the room was clean (and quiet) and our overall experience was great. Definitely recommended for a stay in Auckland. 'Ohtel is a comfortable hotel at a great location. Because of the terrible weather in Auckland the elevator was not working. We stayed 4 nights and were hosted on the 4th floor so that was 8 stairs everyday for a couple of times. Very heavy. The breakfast was good, so was the room and the service. '
