'It seemed a very nice villa on top of the hills with a view. We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. Positives: - The view is very nice - the grounds are greener than on the pics - the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird! - the furnishing is nice wood, well...

'10/10 recommendation for couples. Jimmy was a great cook and very friendly. He’s definitely an asset. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was very relaxing and refreshing. First time in Costa Rica and it was perfect staying here.'

'Lovely property. Full of trails in its reserve. Went to the shore - 20 minutes through the woods - to the most magnificent and wild shore. Like heaven! Also went to the natural pool and waterfall - beautiful and cool! The garden, the ocean view from every spot, and the natural and simple wooden rooms - all was a great scene for nature. Dishes of the hotel restaurant (lunch/dinner), not cheap but very tasty. The only thing we missed is an umbrella (which was a must in any other hotel this time...

'El lugar está en óptimo estado. Limpio, ventilado, cómodo. El baño más grande de lo usual. Las habitaciones limpias y el AC funcionando al 100%. La ubicación es estratégica y muy cercana al Parque Marino Ballena y a Uvita. La verdad me encantó. Y el trato de Lidia, la señora encargada, de primera. Siempre atenta a cualquier consulta.'

'De luxe kamer had eigenlijk geen luxe en het was vrij krap. Een koelkast is aanwezig en tevens een koffiezetapparaat, waar je zelf je koffie moet voor kopen. Ook de ruimte voor de rijtjes met kamers is beperkt door een volgende rij gekoppelde kamers. De waterleidingdruk viel continue weg ook voor enkele uren waardoor wc spoelingen of douchen niet altijd op de gewenste momenten mogelijk waren. Het ontbijt was matig en het restaurant echt te duur. Daarvoor zijn er alternatieven in de omgeving....

'Mavi hotel is een keurig verzorgd schoon hotel. Er bevindt zich een klein, maar prettig zwembad in de tuin. De eigenaren zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is heerlijk met vers gebakken pancakes, vers fruit, eigen gebakken brood etc.'
