'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is charming and very complete. You will find anything you may need during your stay. The setting by the river is a real bonus. Make sure to do your groceries in advance and make diner reservations if you need to.'

'Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx'

'Very well equipped and immaculate. In quiet side street off lovely village of Edzell. Near to Angus foothills and beautiful coast and right next to wonderful walk up to rocks of solitude. Couldn't ask for more.'

Each room was spotless and every need was catered for . There’s even a real fire which we loved ! 'This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. The skylights have blinds/shades and can be cracked open for air, and the lighting options inside are numerous. Sometimes you see houses that have been flipped with superficial touches yet they fail at...

The owners, who are both friendly and approachable, live in an adjacent property on the same site. Pitlochry makes and excellent base for exploring central Scotland. The town has a large Coop supermarket and numerous places to eat.'
