'To be honest, it was a little confusing. We arrived close to midnight, and our room was located in a different building than the registration desk. We're very good at getting lost, and fortunately the bartender from the hotel saw us wandering around the state house with our suitcases, and pointed us in the right direction. I think a map at the front desk would be a tremendous help. The room in which we stayed was nothing special, it looked out on a wall, but the historic details of the other...

'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'

'Breakfasts were ok. Bar needs to be opened Earlier maybe 3:00. Housekeeping was sadly lacking. We stayed 5 nights. On the 3rd day we had to ask for towels and trash removal since household had not been there since check in. They came with towels and emptied trash, that’s all. Never had clean towels after that. Our, bathroom was never cleaned, no new beverage glasses provided at all. Bed never made entire stay. Informed front desk at check out. Clerk was nice and apologized.'

'Room accommodations were excellent, clean, well equipped and served. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! It was well supplied and had a wonderful variety. The service people kept all the offering full and available. On the down side, the hotel advertised happy hour, 5-7pm, daily, but on Wednesday and Thursday of our stay, the main desk staff stated that the Happy Hour staff didn't show up. Then they just shrugged it off, as if that was a normal occurrence??'

'When we arrived people were still checking out because of the problem with the elevators. So we have to wait for the room to be cleaned. We booked a handicap room but was giving a standard room I called down to the desk and they did move us to a handicap room. The Restaurant was closed for remodeling. One of the two elevators was not working. The hallways were hot. The a/c was working in our room just fine. It could be a nice place to stay. The location is great for someone that wants to shop...

'It would have been nice to have a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. The food was excellent. The staff was excellent. I found the room to be too small.'

'This hotel was fine for our one-night stopover in Annapolis. Location was good with plenty of free parking. The room was spacious, although fairly basic. Beds were clean and comfortable. On the down side, the foyer of the hotel wasn't very clean when we visited. Perhaps someone had just been in with dirty shoes on but the carpet seemed a bit grubby. Breakfast was very basic. So fine for a stopover but don't expect anything fancy.'

'the location was convenient, close to downtown Annapolis, lots of restaurants, things to do. The hotel is tired. Needs to be remodeled, especially the interior hallways, rooms, etc. Wallpaper is starting to peel off in many areas, the room has an odor to it, the furniture is starting to fail such as the hinges on cabinets are loose, the heater makes noise while operating, the toilet keeps running and we need to jiggle the flusher a bit so that the flapper seals the opening in the tank, just...
