'Could really not fault the staff or any part of the hotel. Very genuinely friendly staff on arrival, breakfast, and any other time needed. Hotel renovation has been done to very high standard, incorporating many parts of the old monastery. (Make sure you take in the monastery museum connected, so you can see the before and after)
The outside pool is just wonderful (with the right weather). It's big enough to have a proper swim, but you're still able to stand in the deep end.

The spa was heaven as the indoor pool, hot tub and Turkish bath were included. I didn't see the sense in having to buy the shower cap/swimming cap as it wasn't waterproof '

'They were great. We got there late looking for food to eat late at night and there was nothing around and the lady in the front desk got us a platter full of stuff to eat. It was super affordable and comfortable!!!! Would really recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely come back and stay here again. Love the place!!!'

"There is nothing not to like. The staff is very friendly and keen to help. The hotel is situated near the center. You have a bus stop nearby. Very clean, very good breakfast. A parking nearby, be sure to reserve it but there is a public parking nearby."

"Leuk hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Hotel ligt zeer centraal bij alle bezienswaardigheden, (10 minuten lopen naar de brug) en het heeft een uitgebreid fantastisch ontbijt. Ook fijn om even te relaxen bij het zwembad na een drukke dag. Wij hebben nog genoten van een heerlijke massage. Ik zou iedereen dit hotel aanraden. "

"De kamers waren mooi en schoon en modern! Het ontbijt was top en er werd zelfs rond theetijd heerlijke taart etc klaargezet. Veel op loopafstand en met prachtig uitzicht dus absoluut een aanrader!
Enkel punt van feedback was dat we de laatste ochtend niet konden ontbijten in het hotel ivm een vroege vlucht. We vroegen om ontbijt ‘on the go’ en kregen droog brood, met wat kaas en vlees erop. Dat was wel een teleurstelling. "

Clean and super comfortable beds, clean towels nearly every day of our stay. It is also in a perfect location very close to the main attractions yet quiet at night. Daniella was incredibly helpful and very friendly. We loved this place and will surely book again if in Porto again. Recommended!"

Bij aankomst krijg je een bon voor wijn of alternatief, bij een kaartje aan de deur achterlaten voor het niet schoon hoeven maken van je kamer krijg je ook een drankbon. Bij het uitchecken krijg je pp een flesje water mee en in de lobby staat ook drank, koekjes en appels. Erg schoon, op loopafstand van de Louis 1 brug, en vrijwel alle highlights in de stad en stop 1 van de hop on hop off bussen. Op het dak is een klein terras met zwembadje.
