'A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! '

'The location is not pretty, but convenient when traveling through the area. The all you can eat buffet of the hotel next door of the same chain is wonderful and easy. Clean, modern accommodation. '

'If you like nature and quiet only an Uber removed from the center this is a great place to go. We took an Uber from Melbourne center and walked everything else through forests and mountains. Nice staff too!'

'This is not a hotel. Just room rental. Reception limited opening times. Contact phone adverted outside on reception no working, probably not even existing .No breakfast. No restaurant, no nothing '

'This hotel is a home for displaced individuals, there were permanent residents in rooms that were not even one star quality. I did not even sleep there as I did not feel safe and instead booked a different motel down the road. My intuition was correct as when I turned up the next day I saw the reception front windows had been smashed in overnight. Definitely avoid this hotel'

'Property was easy to check in and the front desk gentleman was very kind. The property itself is in need of upgrades. Carpets are worn. Elevator needs a spruce up. The room environmentally was dark, the temperature was comfortable and was very quiet despite being on a busy street. We didn't drive but there appeared to be adequate parking in the underground garage. The property felt safe. The housekeeping needs supervison. Room windows needed attention, tub had hair. 'Overall the stay was ok '

'Quaint and characterful. Did not have facilities as described (ie no functioning wifi and brig your own coffee) the word "boutique" is doing a lot of heavy lifting but its cute, cosy and the birds that visit are wonderful. Must like owls!'

'Simply just an awesome place to stay front of room parking big rooms with big beds very comfortable bed linens and pillows awesome showers and just in one word it was sensational place!! Highly recommend this place for anybody that wants to have a night or 2 or 3 weeks / months…👍👍'

'This is a good place for independent travellers. Staff are not readily available and there are is no on site cafe / catering or food service available to casual guests. Setting is nice, lots of parking and quiet'

'If you like mould, filth, paper thin walls and junkies, this is the place for you! I lasted about 30mins and left. I felt so uneasy by the state of the room and clientle. Definitely not worth $120+ taxes. The cancellation policy which I agreed to meant no refund at that late stage but I didn't care, I had to leave for my own peace of mind. I would give half a star if an option.'
