We went there for new year celebration and I was in touch with there customer service WhatsApp where they informed me they are going to have some good celebration followed by a firework at 12am. This was all before I booked. The moment I booked and shared the info, I was informed that there Ll not be any fireworks this year unlike any other year. But there Ll be some celebration.
After checking a few times whether we need to book a table for the event I was repeatedly informed it is walking for the hotel guests but when reached to the event it is all pre booked n we have no tables there. The hotel was fully booked and they have only 10-15 table setup there.
Then everyday breakfast was a battle for the table and food. U Ll be waiting in queue to reach to the table and then to the food. They were overwhelmed with the guest but very few staff to cater.
The table was offered way tooooo far from the buffet which was a task and we end up not taking the breakfast on the second day.
The coffee machine takes forever for a cup so the wait time for coffee was min 10-15 min and many of the guest gave up.
The property is in very bad shape. Our door was full mouldy and the floor is broken here and there.
U have stayed in many Marriott hotels and resorts around the world but this one is no where a 5star property. May be it was in some point in time.
The worst stay of my life. And totally spoiled my new year eve.
