'Very nice place with a clear sense of detail. We opted for the Deluxe room — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a big bathtub and a super-size bed. Breakfast was very Chinese/Asian-oriented, and after a few days we decided to skip it — the coffee was terrible, and simple Western items like cheese or granola were missing. The rest of the buffet looked fine, just not to our taste for the morning. Staff were friendly in a typically Chinese way — not many smiles, but attentive and efficient...

'Always a pleasure staying at the central hotel, as well as the grand central hotel. Amazing location just around the corner of Nanjing road and the bund, very convenient family mart across the road. Metro station “East Nanjing road” at 5 minute walking distance. Amazing friendly staff that speak excellent English. Absolute go to when staying in the tourist center of Shanghai.'

'One of the best hotels in Shanghai. Upon arrival staff is there to help with any request, rooms are large and view is phenomenal. The hotel amenities are the best - I love the pool view, the change rooms, the gym is so clean and the room service is yum! Will always stay here when staying at The Bund. 10/10 Thank you Team :) '
