Rustieke lakefront cottage verhuur op Beech Hill Pond in de buurt van Bar Harbor Maine, met nieuwe voorzieningen. Mooie 2 slaapkamers, 1 badkamer, met zolder. Word wakker met de roep van de Loons en drink je koffie op slechts een steenworp afstand van de prachtige beukenheuvelvijver, comfortabel ingericht en goed uitgerust met alle gemakken die je nodig zou kunnen hebben - dock, zwemvlotter, propaangrill (met alle propaan inbegrepen) en vuurplaats met Adirondack stoelen voor ontstressen (* inclusief alle brandhout *). Veilig zwemmen voor kinderen in het kristalheldere bronwater, evenals kanovaren, paddleboarden en kajakken. Dit huisje heeft een A / C-pomp om u comfortabel te houden, ongeacht het weer, een flatscreen smart-tv met directe tv en een blue ray-speler en snelle WiFi. De 2 slaapkamers zijn charmant ingericht en bieden 2 koninginnen en 2 tweelingen op de zolder, en beddengoed zijn allemaal inbegrepen. Acadia National Park: Acadia National Park: In 1913 heeft president Woodrow Wilson 6000 hectare (in wat nu Acadia National Park is) gereserveerd als Sieur de Monts National Monument. Met de verwerving van meer land en particuliere steun en financiering ondertekende president Wilson in 1919 een wet tot oprichting van Lafayette National Park. In 1929 werd de naam van het park veranderd in Acadia. Acadia National Park werd opgericht om de spectaculaire landschappelijke waarden van het gebied, de rotsachtige kust van Maine, de kust en de offshore-eilanden te beschermen, gekenmerkt door de geologische kenmerken, natuurlijke geschiedenis en het inheemse planten- en dierenleven. This place is amazing!! The property sits on a quiet gravel road, and the views of the water are beautiful. We saw loons, ducks, turtles and otters from the deck!The house has everything you would need and the hosts went above and beyond by providing kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, along with firewood and bottled water! Communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.Amazing location, property, cabin, and hosts! Highly recommend!!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Our stay at this cabin was perfect for our family. Watching the pink sunrises across the lake each morning was breathtaking. I especially enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning reading my book and listening to the loons, and in the evenings sitting outside playing games. Our grandsons enjoyed fishing off the dock, my husband enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake, and our golden lab enjoyed sunning herself on the deck. We hope to return to this location again. It would be beautiful in every season.

Wonderful weekend

Stayed for three nights at this wonderful property. Kids loved everything about it and our stay was just enough. We picked up supplies before getting to the house, so the only thing we went out for was bait at the local general store. Though the water was too cold for swimming, the beach was great for the use of the stand up paddle board, canoe, and kayaks. We fished all day and made use of the very generous welcome gift to make smores at night. The lake was so peaceful, there was some limited boating during the day, otherwise very quiet place to relax. I don’t think anybody wanted to leave and we could have enjoyed Acadia from the lake house being about an hour away but we made plans to stay in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we had was the couches were horrible for relaxing in the evening. We also had an incident with a rather large spider in the bedroom but it’s the woods and we live in the woods as well so we know what it’s about. The house was stocked with all the essentials, everything for making meals, plenty of linens and towels, WiFi. If we ever find ourselves heading up to Maine again, this house on Beech Hill Pond will be at the top of our list. bonus, we were greeted by a threesome of loons every day.

Great stay over MDW!

My adult kids, Mom, pups and I had a great time at the cabin. The weather was not great the first few days so we went out explored the area, played games and watched movies. The lake is pristine and we took advantage of the owner provided paddle boards. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Can’t wait to go back when the weather warms up!

Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌

Great Rental. All as listed but felt they should indicate water was provided from lake & fresh drinking water from bubbler provided. Beautiful lake, about 30 minute ride to Ellsworth for groceries.

Perfect Maine Vacation

We had an amazing stay in Maine on Beech Hill Pond! The property exceeded our expectations and was a perfect match for our family of four. The lake was crystal clear and fun for swimming, boating, and relaxing by the water. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking our own meals and feeling at home for a week with a few day trips into Acadia. Great decor, comfortable beds, and a lovely welcoming gift basket really enhanced the stay. We couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you, Josh!

Wonderful Place

My family and dog stayed at this place in July and loved it. The pond/lake was literally in the front yard and Acadia was close by. The place comes with kayaks and canoe which made it even better. Couldnt reccomend any more

You Won't Want to Leave!

Beech Hill Pond is beautiful, and this cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and more! The view is stunning, the access to the lake is perfect and allowed us to take advantage of kayaking, boating, and just taking in the beautiful surroundings on the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, the linens were plentiful, and we loved the small touches like s'mores supplies being available to us, extension cords available to charge our phones, fans available in each room (the air conditioning in the main living areas worked wonderfully as well). The owner was responsive and helped us secure a pontoon boat as well. We really didn't want to leave. We made sure to spend at least a full day just taking in the scenery and being outside on the property. Sunrise is beautiful! The other days included day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and more! Thank you for a wonderful week in Maine! Highly recommend!

Amazing girls weekend

The place was extremely clean with plenty of supplies including lots of linens and kitchen tools. We had a rainy weekend and had to stay in a lot but it was very comfortable even with 4 women and the occasional visitors.

All the Outdoor Fun Maine Has to Offer in One Cozy Camp

This is a beautiful camp and one of the most beautiful properties on Beech Hill Pond. You really couldn't ask for more in outdoor entertainment than this camp offers from the beautiful anchored and floating docks to the generous sandy lake access for swimming and easy in/out for the kayaks/canoe. We so enjoyed the scenic fire pit area and sprawling back deck with wonderful views of the lake and the loons that like to perch out front. Indoors, while compact, is comfortable and cozy and beautifully appointed with the best stocked kitchen we've ever had in a rental of any size. And if you are looking for more to see and do - the camp is less than an hour to Acadia, Camden and other gorgeous locations on the coast in Down East Maine. Josh was a warm and welcoming host and replied quickly to any inquiries we had. We had a wonderful time and really look forward to returning some day.

Upon arrival the house was spotless clean and absolutely beautiful. The owners really did think of everything we might have needed. Great lakeside vacation

This property was very clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable vacation lakeside. The cabin fit our family of 5 comfortably and we enjoyed being in the clean lake every day. The kitchen was outfitted very well, I was surprised that I didnt need to use items I packed because they were already there. We loved going for a jog or walk and playing on the paddle board or kayaks. We even went into bar habor twice for exploring. It was a wonderful stay!

We’ll be back

Perfection for our first family trip to Maine! We loved the house’s comfy layout, generous kitchen and spectacular views. On-site laundry was so needed and appreciated. We were welcomed with a sweet welcome basket of goodies. We used the kayaks and swam in the cool lake water every day. Just a short drive to Ellsworth for any necessities and excellent ice cream. About an hour to Acadia for the day was amazing, but we really just wanted more time at the cabin. The loons at sunset and sunrise were peaceful and entertaining for the long summer days - and a supreme view of sunrise is worth celebrating. Can’t wait to come back! Not an issue, but worth noting that the GPS located us about 1/2 mile short, but the just followed the house numbers and made it perfectly.
