'My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!'

'We enjoyed having such a scenic view. The pond, yard, and river was beautiful! This is a great quiet place to stay. It was like a peaceful home away from home for our family. The host, Jeff, was awesome as well. Perfect location to be in the middle of nowhere but close enough to get to Sault St. Marie within 20 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.
