'Very easy to ask questions as the host is always nearby! Also a beautiful location in a charming little rustic cabin! It was nice to unplug and get a little sunburnt. '

'My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!'

'My fiancé, a couple of my friends, and I made this our spot over Great Lake State Weekend while we were up in the Soo and it worked out so well. The property was nice and it was close to everything in town plus the campus. Very thankful we chose this stay!'

'Sugar Suite is a beautiful property. Not too far away from Sault St Marie. Very clean and comfy house. Boat was as advertise but it did the trick for my angler husband and kids. Check-in was easy and getting a hold of Laurie was super easy and got a quick response. Would recommend and stay again. '

'Wow! We were absolutely amazed by the wonderful hospitality of these hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and provide such a peaceful and gorgeous setting on Sugar Island. The house was perfect for our large family and everyone was very comfortable. The small store on site has ice cream, cold drinks and unique treasures. '

'Near town but has an "out in the county" private feel - quiet and relaxing. In addition to the spectacular view of the freighters there were several great little adders like yard games & kayaks in the shed, and a nice little welcome basket with some treats. Plenty of lounging space, including a separate TV room and large sitting room with a view of the water. Enough bedroom space for a small army and showers in all three baths. Zou een jaar wachten totdat de verbouwing klaar is

"Volop in verbouwing. Te weinig en onaardig personeel. Kamer niet schoongemaakt na eerste overnachting. Door een gang lopen die ze volop aan het verbouwen waren. Bubbelbad stuk... "
