'This was exactly what we were needing! The cottage is adorable and private, which we loved. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking! We spent hours in the afternoons enjoying the river and I think our dogs enjoyed it more than we did! It was flowing nicely, clear and cold. We love the Frio, it’s always been our happy place! We will be back! '

'Desi’s Hideaway was the highlight of our vacation. We had several incidents throughout the weekend, the only light at the end of the tunnel was returning to our home away from home. Then to top it off, our hosts took time out of their day to aid our family members, that were not even guests of theirs. 'It was very peaceful and enjoyable. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. One family of 4 people and one small dog and another family of 4. The home sits on 25 acres of west Texas range land which was great for hiking. We recommend the veiw from “The Platform”.'

'The property was in a great location, close to the river front, a short walk from the house. Its very close to stores for a quick supply run. River levels were good. The kids & dogs loved it! Hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive & accomodating. No issues at all with anything. We arrived to a very clean house and it ammomdated our group of 10 very comfortably! We will defintiely rebook for next summer!'
