'Great place, responsive owner, close to everything you need! We love the Friendship/Waldoboro area, with Jameson Point Lobster a favorite eat-out trip, DownEast feel without the drive. We contacted Rebecca before our stay re. kayaking from the property, and with a quick response she laid out the tidal limits, a tide table for our stay, and places to launch; all accurate and honest, by the way. Turned out to be very easy, plus a long hose that reached down the lawn to help us wash off the boats...

'Have stayed several times over the last few years. Love the proximity to town (and obviously the lake!). It's hard to take a full week off so the flexible schedule at the "Maine Cabin Master's" remodel is a real blessing.'

'The cabin was nestled far enough back from the road with great surrounding trees that it felt very private and quiet. We loved the cabin, it was clean and cute and had everything we needed! Perfect town for a quiet getaway, beach, history, dining, it was perfect!'

'I have to say that this site was the most well stocked and developed camp site that we have ever visited. It had everything, and Aaron was a very accommodating host. We could not have asked for more. For everything that the site offered - from hot shower to fully electrically powered lights and refrigerator to the grills, we were in awe. This is definitely a place to stay for multiple nights. If anything, I think the description under-sells what they have to offer. Highly recommended. '

'Amazing location. The cabin is EXACTLY as described. It was WELL STOCKED with commodities that we needed to be comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens etc. The kitchen had just about every gadget and item we needed to have great meals. We cannot say enough about how PEACEFUL this location was for us. The sounds of nature abound, both of land and sea. We spent as many nights as possible out at the fire pit, watching the sun set and enjoying the star filled sky. The stars are unbelievable....

'This was our second visit to Peter’s lovely cabin. The location is perfect. The waterfront views are beautiful and there is lots of comfy outdoor seating. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new. The location is convenient to a supermarket and to downtown Booothbay. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are a must see! Peter is a wonderful host and we will return for sure. '

'We loved this cottage steps from the lake and convenient to the area sites. The lake view is amazing, and swimming in it was a favorite, along with using the kayaks & paddle board. The owners are so friendly and attentive, going above & beyond to address one water issue we had. Such a comfortable & peaceful stay - we hope to return!'

'This place was ideal for a quiet getaway. We were able to kayak, read and simply enjoy the wildlife during our time here. It was perfect for rest and relaxation. It was in a good location for day trips to Freeport and Boothbay.'

'Cabin was just as it was described. Everything we needed. Stairs down to the water could use some maintenance. The dock and water were fantastic. My kids loves going out to the island. Overall great property. Would definitely come back.'

'Lola’s was fantastic. The cabin was very clean. It was stocked with all of the essentials. Paul was great. Easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The cabin is near downtown Boothbay Harbor. We had a great time. Very nice and comfortable. '

'We loved this cottage! It was so quaint and charming and perfect for our family. The fans and the screens in the windows were lifesavers as we hit some hot weather while staying here. We loved the location, as well as the view over the water. Absolutely wonderful and we would stay here again!'

'Communication with Property Owner was excellent. This cute little cottage has been renovated and has a nice feel indoors. There is a beautiful porch on the back with a lovely view. The unit includes a mini fridge and mini microwave along with a little table and two chairs. If you have long hair, water pressure could be a concern. My shower worked great but the sink water pressure was not strong. The bed was comfortable and the decor was nice. The air conditioning works fine.'
