'The house was very comfortable for us and very central to everything we wanted to do. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog and Thomaston has the best dog park, about a 3 minute drive from the house. It’s not really a walkable neighborhood, but that was the only downside. We would definitely stay here again!'

'The house is exactly what you see in the pictures and more! We had a wonderfull stay and hope to return one day. The view is incredible and the house was amazingly cool for the warm time of year. We were very comfortable. Martin and Becky are the most friendly and lovely hosts we have ever encountered. They were just amazing. And Becky's muffins are delicious! We had an amazing time.'

'Immaculate. It felt brand new. It is very bright and welcoming. Probably the best rental we have ever stayed at.'

'Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable.'

'A charming location with a fantastic view of the rising sun. We swam off the property (which was super rocky) and then made use of the hot tub to warm up. The kitchen is equipped with all imaginable high-quality ware, making it a pleasure to cook on the Viking range. Cocktails on the deck are memorable as the view is so lovely. Linens and such were fine. Communication with our host was friendly, fast, and smooth. My only disappointment is that the dock cannot be used, which was something I was...

'An excellent waterfront house in owls head.The property was just as described in the listing and accompanying photos, which is not always the case in our experience. The location is very close to all the restaurants and other must-sees in the Rockland area, and the view of the bay and harbor from inside the house is extraordinary. The configuration of the house is very user friendly, and having available ac is a real plus.'

'Great location, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful view of Mt. Battie. Plenty of room for 5 adult friends for a few days of hiking in the Coastal Mountain Land Trust. If there had been 6 adults we would have needed another bed in the master bedroom.'

'Everything was fantastic at this property. There is no A/C, so the upstairs gets hot. But this was clearly not in the listing. And there are also plenty of fans. The property managers yelled quickly to every question we had. Extremely helpful. Thank you... Well be back! '

'Nice house in a great location. It was wonderful to have a first floor bed and bath since we were traveling with my elderly parents. The location made it easy to walk or drive to Boothbay Harbor. The only minor issues we found were spotty wi-fi and the latch on the front screen door did not work properly. Would definitely stay here again!'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
