'Caroline, the proprietress of the Victorian by the Sea, is a delightful hostess. The inn itself is lovely and beautifully maintained, with colorful, well-tended gardens. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was also delicious, served in a beautiful room with a view of the sea. '

'Eric and his team were wonderful. We feel so lucky that they had a last minute room available for a few days. A delightful and special place to stay. Breakfast and snacks were delicious and plentiful. Bed was comfortable and the shower was HEAVEN. This B&B is just a couple of blocks from the main street of Bar Harbor. We only used our car to drive to Acadia, minutes away from Holbrook House. There is even a park shuttle close, if you don't want to take your car into the park. We cannot wait...

'This was the highlight of our trip. The property was beautiful, and we had an amazing room overlooking the water. The location was perfect, walkable to the downtown area. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were great. If you're looking for that perfect coastal experience, this checked all the boxes for us.'

'The property is rustic but nice. There is a bathroom with shower on 1st and 2nd floor but the water pressure in the house does not sustain use of both at the same time. The main kitchen refrigerator was not working during our stay. There are minifridges on the 2nd and 3rd floor but it would have been nice to have working main floor fridge.'

'The Inn at Primrose Hill cancelled my birthday present trip hours before we were to arrive. So unprofessional and so "Terrible" is the review since we never had the "joy" of a happy birthday celebration. Full disclosure, they did rebook us at a motel in the area, but that wasn't much of a birthday "gift". '
