'Incredibly clean hotel with lovely personnel. Even though some things were a bit dated, the cleanliness made all up for that. Also the complimentary breakfast was a good wat to start the day. '

'We haven't seen any staff at al! We checked in at 3.30 , not late, but the key was in the mailbox, our room was in another building, no heating ( it was freazing last night) and no extra blancket. Breakfast was not what we expected and again no one was there! We made the decision to go to a Bed and Breakfast because it is so much more personal then a hotel but that is difficult when no one is there or shows up!'

'Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.'

'The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes '

'The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!'

'We requested a first floor room as I am orthpedically challenged. When we got there it was a second floor room with no chance to change. The room was awful, decorated in flea market antique style, with ridiculously antique wallpaper that was peeling, carpet that was poorly instaled and was "rippling" off the floor, The bathroom had a tub with no separate shower. I was unable to bathe as I can't step into a tub, unfortunately, so I left unshowered. The bed was designed by Torquemada...
