Affordabla Basic standard room hotel at the moment, as upgrading is on it's way. Friendly staff easy check in/out, the restaurant next to it was fabulous the only big problem only the car park for hotel guests which we had to parking our car away from our room, because of restaurant customers take the hotel guest carpark. they should marking few spots for guests only park their cars. The rest is good would be back and stay again

This is the perfect stop over travelling to the north coast I booked this place last minute. For the price it's actually not bad. There's comfy clean beds, toilet and shower private in your room. A bar fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. Remember bring yoir own shampoo hair products etc. There is no microwave, plates or hairdryer. Again for the price it was good for.a.one night stop over. I have paid hundreds of dollers a night and never had a microwave or plates in a room. Just to point that out. Plenty of towels and soap though. Thanks Bateau Bay Hotel

Reasonable cleaning with basic facilities for a short stay. But there are small insects came into beds which were annoyed. The worst part was early construction next to the rooms. All my friends had to wake up early due to the noise.

Reasonable price for a basic room. OK linens and towels, aircon and kettle and few packets of coffee, tea and milk. Restaurant and bottle shop next door. The staff at the bottle shop / check in is friendly. Good location, quiet, easy to find and has a very large carpark. A short drive to the beaches and shopping centre. The room is a bit small, the outdoor sitting area at the back of the room is blocked off by construction fencing, and the front area too is blocked off. The furniture and the toilet/ bathroom are outdated, odours linger, the dark carpet feels dirty, and the fridge is rusty, its door is banged up and the freezer is so thickly frosted up. The housekeepers didn’t turn up for day 2 so I had to ask for replacement towels when we got back. I requested for housekeeping for day 3 but they missed tidying up the bed. However, for this price, I'd be unreasonable to expect a pristine place. I hope the ongoing renovations work well to improve the property when I come to the area again next summer.

For the budget price to stay here I thought it was excellent. Roomy, shower pressure fabulous and beds comfy. There is renovations going on but i was in a room further away so it really wasn't a problem. Handy location too.

The room was comfortable enough but despite the information stating that there was WiFi in all rooms, it was broken & switched off. Also the info said there was a restaurant but it was closed for rebuilding. It was not stated that the place was being rebuilt and the builders woke me earlier than I would have liked. When I took the staff to task, they blamed it on Wotif, saying they had emailed to advise. The hotel emailed me a confirmation and failed to warn of these reductions in their service so I didn't accept their feeble excuse. I have been asked to advise a friend of a suitable place to stay in this area, so needless to say I did not recommend here!

It was not obvious where to check in. It should have been listed as being next to a construction site. No view. Good for someone passing through that just needs to sleep overnight.

We realize the property is budget accommodation and renovations were happening at the adjourning hotel. We woke Friday morning to no hot water for the shower then at 8.30 am no water in the room at all.

Room was clean.A face washer would have been nice.The small milks provided maybe should have been in fridge as the one I used curdled my coffee.However for the price paid the room suited its purpose and the meals at the hotel was great

Being part of the BB Hotel meant great parking, good food that I could order by phone to walk over and pick up, comfy bed and nice little outdoor terrace right off my room overlooking a grassy area with birds and fresh air! I’m booked in again for multiple times as I’m in transition of living accommodations. Looking forward to it!

The staff are lovely The room was very clean & opens on parkland where you can sit outside your door. Nothing glamorous but don’t be fooled. Has a good & very popular bistro too! I recommend!

Overall it was good. Clean, tidy, had everything we needed for an overnight stay. For the price it was great in comparison to other prices. It's a bit older but well maintained. Some minor issues were old soap not cleaned off in the showers, the air con wasn't great in one room - not sure if it's faulty. But probably the most annoying thing was that I had to check in in the bottle shop and wasn't aware of that and no signage, so I had to walk around and ask a couple of the other staff before I figured out where to go.

Spacious room with ensuite. Good size fridge. Nice small outdoor area. The bar/hotel next door was convenient for a drink and/or dinner. Easy parking right outside our door. Could do with a good clean, especially the bathroom.
