'A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay.
The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful.'

'Prachtig gelegen hotel niet ver lopen vanaf het centrum. Vanaf de achterkant van het hotel fantastisch uitzicht op het centrum met imposante kathedraal en klassieke gebouwen. Op de voorgrond daarvan sportcomplex met groene grasvelden. Lekker ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Het centrum is zeer de moeite waard met zijn Romeins verleden en de omgeving ook prachtig. We hebben deze dagen ook een fiets gehuurd en zo de omgeving kunnen verkennen. Voor deze stad zouden ze hierover meer promotie kunnen...

'We just loved this place. This hotel is within walking distance from the train station. They do offer complimentary luggage pickup, but it was not available when we arrived because we requested it too late. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a vintage radio, and vintage record player and standing tub. They offer complimentary cookies, drinks and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant.

'The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable .
We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !'

'The location was perfect! Very quiet and close enough to walk into the center of town. Close to Sydney gardens and the Art museum which we loved.
The kitchen had everything that you could need and the outdoor space was so nice to have since we were there for some very warm weather!

'We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.'
