'Due to hotel being overbooked, we were given a room at the sister hotel. We are grateful for the ease of this but we wish we had been notified in advance as our arrival was after midnight. The front desk attendant was very helpful and made the situation a lot better than it could have been. '

'Hotel was mostly fine. Staff were friendly, location good for visiting SDSU. Unfortunately there was an AC unit running constantly outside my window generating a lot of noise and vibration at all times.'

'Mooi hotel met goede ligging aan de baai. Prima kamer, wel gehorig en kussens te hard. Lekker restaurant voor avondeten bij hotel. Parkeren dichtbij hotelkamer maar waarom betalen bij hotel 30 dollar per dag. '

'This was a nice quiet hotel that was so very convenient to the Old Town. The staff was very helpful and advised me that on street parking was good, so I didn't need to pay for on-site parking. We were able during our time there to park just across the street from the hotel entrance. The room was exceptionally well maintained by the staff. The pool was enjoyable on warm days and restaurants in the Old Town were very convenient. We will definitely stay there on another trip.'

'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'

'My fiancé and I just stayed there for his 50th birthday and I actually like the hotel. He had breakfast every morning which made his day because it it was good and had options. The rooms were clean and everything else was pretty cool. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.'

'Beautiful Place'

'The hotel is very old and you can tell. Everything is run down and needs to be replaced. Our room was filthy and beat up. There were stains on the ceiling, all the furniture needs to be replaced, there were spiders, the bathroom was dirty (a poop stain on the toilet seat), trash still in the room from the last people, the carpet was wrinkled and torn in places. The redeeming quality is the fact that the staff is nice and there was free breakfast. Parking was incredibly difficult, he spots were...
