'The room with the bathtub was in the accessible floor and wasn't kept well. The phone did not work and we had to walk up everytime to the lobby for anything we needed. We told them about the phone but it was never fixed. The maintenance person said they were going home and never followed up on that. The hallway and general condition of the room was not good. The breakfast however was really good. that made a difference to an otherwise not so great stay. Staff were super helpful in other areas,...

'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'

'The breakfast was limited, rarely had milk for the cereal, ran out of eggs had to wait to bring the eggs.'

'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'

'We had a room facing the freeway. The room has very thin windows so it was very noisy. Also the air conditioner was so loud that we needed to turn it off to be able to sleep. Breakfast was ok but not much variety. The rooms were clean though. Parking is paying (24 dollars a night) but you can park in the street in front of the hotel for free. '
