'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'Really nice hotel; friendly, helpful staff; clean (housekeeping staff was great); nice pool area; convenient location - steps away from seaport village, ferry, midway; totally enjoyed our stay in 2 adjoining rooms with kids. Four stars because of food choices- Starbucks only open till 2 and twice the price outside the hotel; poolside bar/grill closed at 5; Marina Grill super expensive. The Exchange had decent food and was open at all hours but pricey. With kids, we needed to eat at the hotel...

'The TV connection would be in and out, very slow and would automatically turn itself off mid movie. Signs said the bar closed at 12am on Fri & Sat but they were closed before 11pm. Loud construction would wake us up in the morning. We stayed more than one night and requested our room to not be cleaned through the tablet - not a big deal but it was weird to offer to opt out and still have it happen. Lobby staff was super helpful.'

'Staff inside the hotel is top notch. Attentive, helpful, considerate… really great. $70 nightly parking was very pricey though, and my car got a small dent in the side. Overall I’d recommend it but maybe plan to park in a nearby downtown garage for $30/night.'

'Stayed here for one Friday night to catch a Padres game. Will definitely stay again. Walking into the stadium is awesome. Coming back from stadium into hotel was kinda hectic cause everyone had to go down to first floor elevator lobby. Rooms were clean, staff helpful and polite. The shampoo, lotion etc smell amazing. Tons of stuff within walking distance. Great stay!'

'The hotel was very recently acquired and renamed by Hilton. Some elements were not functioning, such as the room safe and the TV. I did find the combined washer/dryer useful. The staff was sparse but friendly, and the room comfortable.'

'Best staff and superb rooms and service. Trolley train and bus within 5 minute walk. It’s in downtoen so many are closeby, only downside is some homeless. Feels safe anyway.'
