We stayed to attend a conference in the convention center for 3 nights. Living room, kitchen and bedroom has ample space and up-to-date appliances and furniture. Pricing is affordable compared to the downtown hotels. You will love it here.'

'We had one reservation for two rooms. We arrive - and the front desk only has one room reserved under the reservation number provided by Expedia. We insist that the reservation was made for two rooms. Then, they inform us that the other room was under a separate reservation. Anyway, they charged two separate (incidentals) on our cc! Weird! Also, their website claims to have “ample parking” but neglects to mention that it is strictly valet at seventy five dollars per night! Cherry on top was that...

'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and respectful, making check-in and the entire stay smooth. The hostel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with a nice social atmosphere. The location is excellent, close to downtown, public transport, and many attractions. Overall, a great value for money and a perfect place for solo travelers. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.'

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'The hotel was booked with the name Sentenel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, apparently it was sold and name changed to the Margot Gaslamp Quarter. Caused a lot of confusion, especially when using GPS to locate the hotel. I finally just went in and that is when I was told there was a name change after recently being bought by the Hilton. Should jave a sign which stated formerly the Sentenel, there were 2 calls during my check in where the caller had same issue. When looking on the website it said...

'Complete disrespect from staff as i was in conversation with the front desk agent when he completely disregarded my self and my GF to attend to there more important clientele/guests (airline pilots) literslly walked away from us mid conversation then procesded to call me 20 minutes later with almoat attitude. For marriott this is just unacceptable. 9 years in the industry and i have never treated any guest in this manner. Horrible stay. Breakfast was a joke as well. I basically had to talk to...
