'We loved this wonderful home. Hosts were very easy to work with and so kind. Place was immaculate and the towels and bedding were high quality. Kitchen was well equipped and great size. 'Since it was first time with VRBO, I was a little nervous about the whole process going into it. Rob was great to answer questions and deal with both myself and my granddaughter.It was an ideal location for visiting the Hudson River Valley and along the coast to Newport. 'If you want to stay a bit outside the city, but easy access, this apt is perfect. Literally 5m walk to Metro North, and express train is 37m into the city. 'We stayed with John for a concert at the capital theater, which is only about 20 minutes away. It was perfect for what we needed, much bigger than the pictures showed. Only complaint was that the balcony door did not lock/ shut completely so there was a slight draft in the apartment, other than that, it was a great stay!'

Noise from people staying in unit above this one can a bit jarring, especially if you are on different schedules, we worked it out no problem. Decent pizza and latin food just around the corner.'

'This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.'

"When we chrcked in the lady at the counter was not very friendly and helpful. We had to pay a deposit, but my creditcard did not work. She told me 2 times that it did not work, but did not help me at all. And every time we passed her in the next days and greeted her, she didn't say anything back. Luckily the other people were friendly and helpful. The room and the bed were great. It was a pity that the windows could not be opened, I like to sleep with te windows open. "
