'This is an attractive, well-laid out house with an extremely accommodating owner. The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath.'

'Stayed at Coastal Retreat for a weekend visit with son who attends Fairfield University, brought both sets of parents and teen daughter (ages ranging 73-16), plenty of room and able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner with son even in attendance. Wonderful area, close walk to beach and easy to get to downtown Fairfield and university. Very clean and welcoming! Greg was wonderful to work with and answered any question we had that came up both prior and upon arrival. The only thing we would mention...

'My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and recently remodeled so everything is new. For our family of four there was tons of space and there is a huge back yard. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet. There is a really good bagel shop at the end of the street (2 min walk), and a good Italian deli for sandwiches also down the street, along with a few other amenities in walking distance. Street parking was super easy and always available in front of the house or house next...

'The property is beautiful; we had such a great time as a party of 7 adults and 5 young kids. The walk to the beach was short but a little tricky because the first half has no sidewalk but still super convenient and better than paying $65/day to park in Cove Beach lot! One very minor note is there were a couple items missing from the house and Elena was super responsive in dropping them off for us quickly. We had a great stay!'
