Average hotel with fair facilities
Kind of a dated hotel from early 90's. Main downside is the smoke smell in the rooms. The facilities were good though. Fitness room was fine. Personnel was friendly.

The subway station is 10-15mins to walk, but taxis are readily available for convenience. The room size suits our needs well. The staff, particularly Mr. 牛 & Mr. 王, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Mr. 牛, being a local, offers valuable recommendations for dining and shopping spots.

Very convenient, easy access with 2 subways under 10 minutes walk. A few restaurants and a 7/11 opposite the hotel. Breakfast has very limited western choice and heaps of local fares, but then you dont come to China to eat western food. I would like to thank and appreciate for all the help Angela offered to recover my lost mobile phone. Angela you are a champion! Thank you

Very good location for visiting Beijing. Employees are very helpful . They helped us for reservations on WeChat, which are difficult for the foreigners, for National Museum, and TianAnMen square. We experienced a very good stay in this hotel.

Close to dengshikou station. Make sure you choose correct room selection. Some are old and some are newly refurbished room. Check portal room photo. A good place to stay.

An der Rezeption sprach niemand englisch. Auf der Internetseite stand, dass sich im Hotel ein Desk für Ausflüge befinde, was leider nicht der Fall war. Wir konnten im Hotel nicht einmal den Ausflug zur grossen Mauer buchen. Zum Glück fanden wir in einem anderen Hotel in der Nähe jemanden, der uns den Ausflug buchen konnte.

Wir haben das Hotel für 6 Tage gebucht. In der Nähe sind 2 Metro- Stationen, die zu Fuß gut erreichbar waren. Ca.600 Meter. In der Nähe befindet sich das Einkaufszentrum und die verbotene Stadt ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und von Toast, Brot bis heimische Küche ist alles vorhanden. Sprachlich kann zwar nicht jeder vom Personal englisch, aber man behilft sich hier und fast überall in Peking mit dem Handy und Übersetzer. Das hat immer gut funktioniert. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Hilfe an der Rezeption (Ich glaube Sie hieß Rene und er Alin). Man war uns gegenüber stets nett, hilfsbereit und sehr geduldig. Auch das Reinigungs-Personal war sehr nett und hat uns erklärt, wie man den Safe im Zimmer bedient. Es gibt Bewertungen in denen steht, dass das Zimmer nach Zigarette gerochen hat. Das hat unser Zimmer auch. Im Restaurant wurde auch geraucht, obwohl es laut Schildern untersagt war Es ist in China scheinbar so üblich. Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Hotel bestens zufrieden und würden es immer wieder buchen.

The newly renovated wing or levels are much brighter and cleaner, hence it is better to go for family suite from level 8 onwards. Staff are friendly. However the family room i stayed in, the airconditioning did not seem to be able to adjust the temperature to cool air, hence the room was too warm.

Best location! You have to consider this hotel when come to Beijing. Closest metro station is Jinyu Hutong, exit A. I could easily come back to hotel whenever tired after sightseeing and went out again for afternoon walk or dinner. The room quite small because they have a lot of property inside but overall I had a very good stay. The heater and hot shower worked properly, helped me through the cold of Beijing. The staff were helpful and like to help me when I had some issue with local tour. I will come back to this hotel if I go to Beijing again

I will like to give my heartfelt thanks to the Housekeeping Staff Zhang Cailing & Du Chun Hong. I am travelling alone and they gave me the sense of security by chatting with me, in addition to keeping my room clean by waiting for me to complete my work in the hotel room before they come in to clean the room. Kudos to them and they are precious assets to the hotel.

The hotel is nice, but the room was very hot at night (25.5). Hard to sleep. They said because it’s fall they don’t use air conditioning. Otherwise great, but if you can’t sleep the hotel is not worth much.

Initially, the receptionist who attended to us was blunt. Then, later when we complained about the room condition - damp and not cleaned properly, another girl looked for a better room for us. Location was good. In hotel restaurant was not bad. But order the red wines.
