'The inside is updated and nice, as is the outside of the building. The wood door really should be replaced as it lacks security and privacy. The shade covering the door window is ripped and no longer fits so we hung toilet paper on the sides for more privacy. The unit is decorated nicely; maybe an area rug would give it more of a homey/welcoming feeling. Price was excellent. '

'If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. 'Property was just as described. It is a fully functional older camper, perfectly suitable for 2 adults and up to 2 teens or 3 smaller children (IMHO). I enjoyed the hottub only once before my trip was cut short. It is next to the deck on back of house. We did find the bed somewhat hard, but added another comforter to sleep on and that helped a lot. Scott is readily available for assistance.'

'The location was great for getting to all the areas we love in NW michigan and the resort property itself is AMAZING as always - but the condo is dated, should offer more linens for the stay due to the fact that there is no washing/drying machine available. Just didn't get a good "clean at home" kind of feeling - the vent when you enter good use a good wipe down. It's the first thing you see! '

'What a great weekend! Scott and Tammy were such gracious hosts. Our unit was exactly as described, check in was immediate and extra bonus game room for family games! 'Really enjoyed Carol's Cabin. Quietly tucked away. Very clean and reasonable price. Comfy bed. Much more offerred than a hotel. We were at a local wkd event at Frankfort. 7min away. Good communication. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen has everything. Breakfast coffee teas provided. Bathroom well stocked. Its on a highway, but felt hidden and noise was not an issue. Will return! 'finally visited Traverse City for the first time, stayed here and enjoyed our time. It was only about 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. It was also a short drive to sleeping Bear dunes national Park, which was fun. Troy was very responsive to texts and emails and definitely went out of his way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. there was even a nice gift package with Thanksgiving cooking supplies waiting for us when we got there. Would recommend...
