'***SCAM***. Do not book!!! We drove 12 hours only to arrive and find out the host cancelled our reservation after check in time. She did not respond to my text messages nor calls. Vrbo called multiple times and when she finally answered she told them it was double booked but I paid in full months in advance. 'This house was perfect for a family stay in Saugatuck. The house was old and charming, yet nicely remodeled and comfortable. The kitchen was modern, there was lots of seating for meals, and the family room had a nice TV and a big table for doing puzzles together after a day of adventures. 'We had four families with grandkids ages 1.5 to 10, so the number of cottages was perfect. The lake was nice and sandy and shallow for the little kids we had there! They loved playing in the water, kayaking, paddling the water boards and fishing with our boat. 'Great house for a quick family vacation. The kids loved being able to walk to the lake and the ice cream shop. The adults loved being able to put the kids to bed and continue chatting in the living room and back porch without worrying about waking them up.'

'After a long hot ride, we arrived to a cool and clean Cozy Cabin! Tucked away from downtown Saugutuk, this cottage was well appointed with all amenities needed for our stay. Only complaint was that the chlorine level in the spa was very very high! Also an extra mirror in the bedroom or living room would have been nice when getting ready for the day or evening. We would definitely stay again! '
