'The staff were brilliant, right from Check in to departure, they couldnt do enough for you. Rooms were lovely and clean, food in the evening was superb also as well as breakfast.'

'All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. 'Als je houd van een typisch Engels verblijf op het platteland dan is dit een prachtig voorbeeld zoals je kan zien in Engelse series. Het minpunt is dat de sanitaire voorzieningen dan ook wat minder zijn maar de vriendelijke ontvangst en het lekkere eten maakt het goed.'

'The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. 'The room was nice spacious but could use an update. And they made a fuss about me not wanting to eat in the special 'dog-area' because it felt like being put away... and too hot. i wanted outside but there they didn't serve... finally it was okay but i had to stand my ground and that was not so nice after a very long day's walk... beautiful sitting area outside though!'
