'It was our 5 yr Wedding Anniversary, and we had a great trip! Just wish there was a late check out that did not cost extra, many other places we have stayed offered it til noon, and if wanted longer after noon, then there was an additional charge.'

'Our hotel stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the entire property was clean and well-kept. We especially loved the pool area—it was relaxing and perfect for unwinding. The pier was another highlight; we spent a lot of time there enjoying the views and fishing. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great getaway!'

'Niet bijzonder. Viezige vloerbedekking zoals vaak in hotels /motels. Zwembad vies. Ligging oké. Kamer ruim. Geen ontbijt. Wel leuk zitje op soort terras bij ons op 1e verdieping. '

'De kamers waren in orde. Koelkastje en eigenlijk alles wat hè nodig hebt. Het pand zelf ziet er beetje verwaarloosd uit. De reling van het balkon is hier en daar kapot, niet geheel veilig. Het ontbijt is naar onze Europese begrippen erg matig. De ijsblokjes machine deed het wel maar zag er vies uit. '

'This property was perfect for our stay in Chincoteague. The pool was delightful, our balcony overlooking the bay was lovely at night and for breakfast, and it was close to shopping, restaurants and the park. '

'the hotel room wasn't great, but the location is, your right on the main strip, everything is within walking distance, you also get complementary coffee and pastries from the shop next door. The best pastries on the island hands down!! The staff was wonderful. Really more like family, everyone was just so nice. I will bring my family back to the Maddox. we enjoyed it evry much. Thank you. '

'Our entire stay was both relaxing and enjoyable. Bungalows were clean and nicely furnished. Area is very scenic and we enjoyed the local surroundings. We will definitely be back soon.'

'We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the walkway entrance was spotless. We noticed it was hosed down and scrubbed each morning. What a difference it makes. At any time of day, the receptionist at the front counter greeted us. 'This is a delightful family owned hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The room has an in-room coffee maker and refrigerator. There was a hair dryer and nice toiletries as well.
