'I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids. 'The property was very nice. The Lakeview was absolutely beautiful. This would be a wonderful place for a couple or two couples as there are two bedrooms with king beds. That was very nice. Also they have a very cool screen door that is magnetized and shuts on its own when you go in and out. Helps tremendously with the bugs. The hosts are very nice and very helpful. If you need anything at all they try to help you very promptly. Our time went by way too fast. Would definitely stay again. '
