'Owner very friendly and went above and beyond when my husband and daughter’s uber driver cancelled their ride to the airport 1 minute before Pick up as they checked out. With no other options he truly saved the day and they made flight on time. Beautiful room and house is incredibly accessible to those visiting SVU'

'This house is our home away from home! We book it at least once a year, and we love Karen and her family! They are super sweet hosts, and the house is so pet friendly. Our cavalier Sidney thinks of it as home, and she goes straight for her sweet dog bed left by the host in her cubby hole. Honestly, the neighborhood is great, the area has lots to do, and you will not be disappointed!'

'Excellent location to the Natural Bridge. Everything else is good, not great, with friendly staff. The breakfast was overpriced for the limited selection buffet style. They didn't even have basic toasts or bananas. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast there at all. '

'Parking was well lit, close and ample. Our room was very clean, bright and comfortable. While the hotel proper held beautiful elements of it's almost 200 year history, the rooms themselves were basic Hampton Inn variety. It didn't bother us in the least. Breakfast was about what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. I found the choice for kielbasa sausage as a meat option, versus bacon and breakfast sausage, a little odd for breakfast, but it was good. I wish they'd had grits or biscuits...

'Large bugs in my room. Told by staff they were throughout the hotel. Poor TV reception. Slow internet. Items on breakfast bar were cold. I had a sausage that was still frozen.'

'Our stay at this hotel was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, room and grounds were immaculate, parking was convenient, atmosphere was consistently positive. Breakfast was a 7 out of 10, and neither of us found the bed very comfortable, but we still consider it a great stay and will visit again. The good far outweighs the not-so-good.'

'The room was reasonably clean but the halls smelled of mildew. The staff as nice as could be but the breakfast was minimal.The location is terrific and the views lovely. All told, despite the limitations I would come again for the central location and the courtesy of the staff.'
