'The property is lovely! The rooms are decorated nicely and the bathrooms are so nice and modern. The carpet in our room needing a good clean with some stains. My only complaint was I had asked the hotel staff over the phone if I needed to book the restaurant for Friday night and I got told there were plenty of tables and no need to book. But when we arrived and wanted to sit inside there were no tables available, they had all been booked. It was a little cool so we didn’t want to sit outside....

'The accommodation is upstairs, be prepared to walk a few flights of stairs, there are no lifts. Bathroom and toilets are shared (not in your hotel room). It is located on a busy corner, lots of traffic noise, there's a bar and slot machines, lots of people noise and voices. I suggest a good quality ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. There is no consistency for house keeping. Sometimes they make your bed and empty rubbish but don't refill towels or water. No designated carpark if you have a...

'Pros- The rooms were fine- small kitchenette, comfortable bed and pillows, water pressure was good, very clean and couldn’t hear noise in corridor. Staff- friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. The Mecure is attached to Bankstown Sports Club. You have the choice of 10 excellent restaurants and cafes. Staff were excellent. Facilities were spotless. Parking- onsite and free. Cons- We started in room 801 which is next to the elevators. You could hear them going up and down...
