'prima hotel, mooi gelegen op een heuvel waardoor je een mooi uitzicht hebt op de Liberty universiteits- gebouwen/sportcomplex. Nadeel van de ligging van het hotel is dat je wel een auto bij je moet hebben. De bus transfer van het hotel is alleen mogelijk voor bestemmingen die binnen 2 miles van het hotel liggen. Ga je verder weg dan moet je met een taxi. '

'This hotel has excellent customer attention. My room was spacious and extraordinarily clean.'

'We LOVE The Virginian. The staff and rooms are great. It is also in the perfect location for downtown Lynchburg.'

'Beautiful lobby and common areas, the basic rooms are meh, the suites are nicer just not plush. Great staff very helpful'

'It was overall a nice place to stay. It was right next to the highway and was loud all night. I know that’s beyond the control of the staff. But was a bit distracting.'

'Kamer was prima. Douche was echter minder. De muur aan de zijkant van de douch zag er bouwvallig uit en niet echt aantrekkelijk. Verder zijn er alleen kamers met 2 tweepersoons bedden en aangezien ik alleen was, was het overbodig.'

'My wife and I made a reservation for this location for one night. We don’t need anything fancy, but we do expect clean rooms and a well-maintained facility. We arrived after dark, so I can’t say much as to the condition of the property but with our first impression in the lobby, everything seemed fine. The problem was with the room. There was very little attempt to clean it if any. There were hair balls on the floor and on the counter near the sink, dirty shoe prints on the bed comforter,...

'Carpets in the hallway were stained. Outdoor pool was empty and filled with dirty rain water. It looked disgusting. Maybe cover it for the winter. The “gym” was dark with only two working lights and terrible equipment. The were a pair of dirty socks from the previous guest on the desk chair in the room No maid service to make up the room or bring fresh towels. Something they really should disclose at check in. One vending machine for snacks or drink. At best this is a one star hotel.'

'It was very dated and far from Lynchburg. With the road construction it was 1/2 hour drive.'

'Very nice room and excellent place to stay…Will be back !!'

'Very quiet, clean and very respectful people thanks for the stay'

'Was on the 3rd floor. The room above was so loud, it sounded like a heard of cattle, people banging and jumping. Called the desk and. No answer. This went on until almost 1am. Will not stay here again.'

'Ground floor rooms near lobby hear everything going on in the lobby. The rear exit door slammed and squeaked whenever opened and closed. Stay was good, staff extremely helpful but would not recommend a room near on the first floor.'
