'Communication with host was poor. No information on check in procedure. No information on which room we had booked.No key in key safe.We only gained access due to a helpful fellow resident, who let us in and helped us find a free room.Room poorly maintained with curtains held up by string and blinds broken.Altogether very poor'

'Good for a short stay. Has everything you need, but it’s a rather small room. There’s a folding table and there’s only one chair so you have to sit on the bed. The kitchen has only two small pans, so you can’t cook anything. Lovely garden and good location (20 min. walk to centre and near train station). '

'Clean and great location. Appreciate providing extra toilet rolls, tea & coffee. Needs to provide fans or air conditioning during the hot summer months.'

'Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays.'

'The perfect size place for our two couples, and wonderfully located to the water and primary commercial district. Extremely comfortable beds, and the place was fully stocked with everything we could need to enjoy our time in Whitstable. The owner clearly identifies the steepness of the stairs (which they are), but at no time did they impact our enjoyment of the space. If you are looking for a good value in the location you want to be, stop looking and book your stay here!'

'Nothing wrong with the stay, but spent days and days longer 'proving' who I was than spent in Whitstable. Truvi even tried to say I needed a passport to travel about forty miles and needed an identity card to collect the keys (they wouldn't accept my senior bus pass). Key holders also wouldn't release the key until I'd made another payment over and above the two-day rent. I'd already paid the owners and was committed, so I sent more money. A complete con, in my opinion. Wouldn't trust anything...

'Superb short break. There was a water shortage across the area, the host warned is and gave us the option to cancel. We went ahead anyway and she made certain we had plenty of bottled water for our 2 night stay. Seasalter is beautiful and the property gives the best views. Loved it and will return.'
