'From the start of our stay, everything went so smooth. The check in process and the communication with the host was quick and responsive. The house was super clean and all amenities were functional. What we really surprised us was how much care the host put in the house. The pantry was full of extras that I have never seen in any rental properties. From the ample dishwashing liquid, laundry detergents, Softners, Rice cooker, blender, full kitchen utensils. Everything you can think of and need is...

'The house is very tired in certain places. Front door lock loose leaving the property not feeling very secure. Evidence of break and enter in the front door that has just been painted over. Glass panel's on the front door missing frosting leaving it completely open for anyone to look inside.Windows not working/broken, screens fallen out on certain windows. Main King bed broken with evidence that it has been for while as it was very choked up underneath, therefore the main bedroom is unusable....

'Property manager contacted me directly to inform us that this property was no longer available due to need work done. An alternative property was offered. Given we were a weeek out from our stay, we accepted the alternative as options in the area were extremely limited. The alternative property was passable (just), but was definitely not as we had hoped or paid for. Property manager was very nice, apologetic and friendly.'
