'We had a great time here. It was 20 minutes away from Saint Andrews, a nice coastal village, and the hotel itself had a comfy room, nice hot tubs (hot tub 1 we liked the best), fire pits with wood provided. We would come here again!'

'We’ve been here a couple of times over the past decade. While it is always clean, we’re not seeing a lot of changes or upgrades along the way. The room (35) was dark due to the heavy, dark, old fashioned bedspreads, and matching drapes. The older style lamp next to the bed has a three- way but has just a single level LED bulb, just barely adequate for reading. The bathroom has multiple defects in the paint. The toilet is VERY low and difficult to access. The dated TV worked in the evening...

'My stay was like a visit with old friends. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating, and the historic house was intriguing. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was sumptuous. I wish I could have stayed longer!'

'A man came out and never introduced himself. Asked who I was and if I had a reservation. Asked for my card number, then said “key in the room”. This was my only contact. There was 1 lamp that didn’t light up the room. There was a ceiling light but in the evening over the bed it wasn’t a good choice. So we left the bathroom light on. There was a bucket under the bathroom sink to catch water. However, the room was clean, the bed was clean, the water was hot and the shower head was nice. So if you...
