'I stayed here for two nights solo, and overall the stay was okay. The staff were very friendly, but it didn’t look like my room was clean upon checking in at all. I’m not sure if the room hadn’t been used in a while, but it’s not something I’m used to seeing when checking into a hotel. It was pretty dusty, and the counter tops and bathroom didn’t look clean at all. 'Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!'

'Location is very peaceful and serene. Views from screened in porch were amazing.. loved having morning coffee and watching evening sunset. Waterfalls by property a definite bonus! Very soothing to listen to the water. Only a few suggestions for host. Maybe a cozy rug in front of couch for our fur babies to be comfy..another tv in the bedroom for sure and possibly sweep house clear of cobwebs when you enter front doors and through out home before tenant arrives especially if home been unoccupied...

'Lake is very pretty. If the weather will be cold dress super warm because camper doesn’t stay warm even if heat is cranked all the way up. Deck was pretty green with mold and slippery when wet but a nice size and it was neat to be next to the water. Mike was very nice and helpful. '
