'This is probably the cleanest, most beautiful hotel for the money we’ve ever stayed in. The nightly rate was comparable to the other hotel rooms in town, but here you get a huge spacious apartment! All new, chic, and very comfortable. Easy to walk to Wharf St. and the dining and shopping area too! The manager was very responsive, friendly and accommodating as well! This place is a gem!'

'Great stay overall! Approximately a 15 minute drive into the city in a quiet neighborhood. There were a few amenities in the room that were nice even if the kitchen wasn't available (a few plates/mugs, microwave, fridge). There was also complimentary snacks, candy, and water upon our arrival which was a nice touch. Do note that you will share the house with the host, but your room will have a separate lock.Great option for a cozy spot to rest after fun adventures in Portland! '

'Awesome stay. Amy and John are great hosts and we would definitely come back. The property is beautiful and spacious for a big group. We had a thunderstorm on the final day and watching the storm roll in across the lake was fun to see. The private beaches were great to have access to. 10/10 '

'Great, comfortable place to stay. The location is super walkable. There are several bars/restaurants very close, and other areas are close enlighten to walk to as well (I.e. Congress Street). Commercial is a bit of a walk, but if you’re like us and love to walk a new area. It’s not that far. The bed is comfortable and the place was very clean. Communication was great. We would stay here again!'

'This was our second year staying at Serenity on Lake Sebago and as anticipated, it was just as wonderful! The five children ranging from 4-10 had the best time playing on the dock, kayaking by, fishing, swimming in the lake, and tubing on the rental pontoon during the day. At night playing Pool or board games and making smores by the fire kept everyone entertained - they didn’t turn the TV on once! The house is well equipped and we made all our meals on site. 'An ideal home away from home at our most favorite place in Maine. Plenty of extra touches to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Owner is quick to respond to any questions, and went well above-and-beyond to help us out when we experienced an unforeseen situation. I am so very grateful! 'The home was very clean. Kitchen functional, with a slightly odd layout for dishes and such. Great dining area for a large group, along with a nice sitting area. A/C worked well. Excellent location. '
