'Prices were what initially grabbed my attention being beyond affordable... So the amazing front desk staff and how nice & hospitable tht front lobby was as well as having rather nice rooms and a very well kept parking lot and overall lovely property visually... All of that was enough to have me totally sold on the Mansfield, LA Super 8 for all future stays in that area!!... 'We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again! This time the boys are bigger and they are better fisherman and we're so excited to catch some pretty bass. Again, "Miss DeeDees hospitality was awesome. Great breakfast a casserole, cinnamon rolls and kolaches! The cabin is so nice, cozy and clean and the boys love the loft beds. We did not see the deer this time but Domino...

'I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area.'

'I first came to this beautiful place in 2021 looking for clarity and peace from life. I found those things at the cabin. The cabin has become a yearly trip for me get away from all of the craziness life brings. Cabin is always stocked with most of the things needed in case you forget anything. Beautiful view of the lake. I spend all of my time on the wharf (dock/pier) enjoying the sounds of nature and the water. We caught a good bit of fish this weekend.
