'This was my second stay at this location. For some reason the exterior doors were poorly sealed (2x). Many small bugs flying around room. Had to jam towel in door gaps to try and mitigate.'

'Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was too small to feed entire hotel. Elevator broke when I was in it. Construction going on with no warning on website. Several charges to my room still pending a week later with no action taken after I have called several times.'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. The room...

'One elevator and it was shared by cleaning staff and guests, also very slow. Keyed rooms doors did not work well and had to have my keys redone both days of our stay. The staff were kind and helped each time. '

'The lady working the breakfast this morning was so kind and helpful. my daughter and I have a gluten allergy and could not eat the biscuit breakfast sandwiches that were out. She went and found quiche for us. She was so kind. Also, the property is very clean. The room was spotless. The staff overall were just completely welcoming and helpful. Thank you'

'The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind. The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. I was really looking...

'Staff was outstanding and very helpful and very courteous. Cannot say enough about how easy it was to communicate with them. Breakfast was the best I have had in years. My compliments to the chef.'
