'We were in town for a funeral. Check in was at 1:00 pm and the funeral was at 2:00. We got to the hotel at 12:45 and the reception was extremely rude. She said the room wasn’t ready and we were early. I told her it was no problem, we knew we were a bit early and could wait until the 1:00 check in time. Besides the room being bigger than average and a bathtub that can fit 2 people , it’s a basic stay. Large room but with the basics like anywhere else wich makes the unused space feel kinda wasted. 'This hotel was so disgusting and unsanitary, we cancelled after the first night and went elsewhere. And when we were told to contact Expedia for a refund, they refused to authorize the refund. There were bugs, mold, and literal poop smeared in the floors of the bathroom. And to be told that we could have the two nights refunded that we did not stay and then now being told we cannot be refunded, is scamming at its finest. Do not waste your time or money staying here.'

'When we got into the room we noticed some black stains on the bed but they turned out not to be stains it was cigarette burns, holes, through the bedding. Even though the room was a smoking room, the presentation could have been better. also the mattress has a loth of black stains. 'This hotel lacks corporate investment. The rooms are clean, but amenities are scarce. There is just one fast food restaurant in this casino and Cattleman restaurant is open for 4 hours day and no room service or breakfast on site. You have to pray for door dash. The Louisiana Board walk is Zombie movie set. I was so disappointed. Food was aweful. I went to KFC and went back Texas.'

Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed.
