'This is a very clean and comfortable place at a great price point. The best thing is the really sweet couple running the place. It's an old property but for the price it is safe, clean and what you need for a couple good nights of sleep. I came here for a marathon in Shiner so it was a good location. It's near HEB and a few interesting towns like Luling and Gonzalez on the fringe of hill country. '

'The room was exactly as pictured. The room was very clean. The bedding was soft and smelt and felt clean. The bed was comfortable considering we stayed away from home. The outside of the hotel looks run down; however, everything else was great. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. I would stay there again.'
