'Relaxing atmosphere. Aesthetically pleasing. Our 2 dogs loved it! It was like staying at a friends house and the host, Bill, is like that friend! Bill was thorough with the check-in/check-out processes information. Very welcoming! We will definitely return! Rockford area was our home for over 30 years. It was so nice to be able to return with such a pleasant place to stay. '

'The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.'

'We had a wonderful weekend with our kids and my sister’s family and my dad. The kids loved the pool which was clean and well stocked with pool floaties. The teens and even the adults loved the arcade room and that kept them busy for hours. The kitchen was well-stocked with all that we needed to make meals for our group for the weekend. 'This VRBO exceeded expectations, which does not always happen! We had just enough space for 4 adults in order to attend a weekend wedding. The host was immediately responsive and helpful, although the place was so well stocked we did not need anything! Historical site and park across the street was a pleasant surprise.'

'Beautiful property!! My 6 year old dubbed this the Modern Mansion and made me promise to come back! Literally you don't even need to leave the property everything is there. '

'This is a great property for a large family. There is plenty of space inside and out! A pond with a ton of bluegill kept us busy during the day, and s'mores were enjoyed around the fire pit(s) at night. This is a beautiful area of IL and we can't wait to come back! 'This is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. I felt safe taking walks at night by myself. We like the location. Close to stores, parks, bike paths, commuter train, and major roadsThe beds are comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of dishes & pots & pans. Everything was adequate for our needs. We'll stay here again the next time it works out!'
