'Wij verbleven niet in het grote hoofdgebouw, waar twee restaurants zijn en het ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Wij hadden een heel ruime kamer in de Lodge. Prachtig bijgebouw op 10 minuten wandelen. Grote ruime kamer met uitzicht op prachtige tuin en alleen vogels te horen. Op Ickworth kun je gratis fietsen lenen of zwemmen. En natuurlijk wandelen en het park van de Nationl Trust bezoeken, evenals het grote gebouw waar de baron van Bristol ooit woonde. En mooie oude dorpen en steden in de omgeving...

'We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place! We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving. The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious. We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good. We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal. The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good...
