'It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

'Rose End Escape was fabulous! It provided 3 queen bedrooms, ensuite and bathroom, lovely spacious lounge, full kitchen with everything we needed, great outdoor seating- all on a quiet rural road in the Wairarapa. We loved it. Its a very comfortable older style home. Beautiful roses in the garden. We enjoyed having coffee on the verandah - theres a great sun sail providing shade, and we moved the chairs to follow the sun. '

'Ruime kamer, alles was prima in orde. Het was een goed verblijf op onze doorreis naar het Noorden. We hebben gegeten in het restaurant op het terrein zelf, helaas was er geen buitenverlichting toen we weer naar onze kamer liepen, was wel erg donker. '
