'Netjes, vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt. Enkel jammer dat er geen restaurant in de locatie zelf is. Wel zijn er een hele boel restaurants in de buurt.'

'Our stay at the ship inn was lovely. The room was spacious and modern, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom and walk in shower were delightful. We didn’t have the breakfast as we had other plans with friends. This is a help yourself continental style breakfast, which looked quite basic but perfectly adequate. 'Do not book here. I booked 10 months in advance and when we arrived they couldn’t find my booking. Given a room on 2nd floor, in direct sunlight so it was like a sauna, but they did give us a fan. Arrived back at midnight to find gates closed and locked. Had to call someone to unlock the gate and let us in. Next morning tried to use the shower and wouldn’t work, then tried the was basin and no water. When I mentioned the shower at checkout, they knew about it and said we should have been...

'Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Budget hotel met vlotte en super vriendelijke bediening. Eetgelegenheid voor lunch en diner aan democratische prijzen met ruim aanbod. Er zijn ook nog veel andere eetgelegenheden en enkele dipermarktjes in de Dukestreet om de hoek. Bovendien ligt het op wandelafstand van het centrum, station en ligt het op zeer korte afstand van enkele bushaltes. Verwacht echter geen luxe, de kamers zijn ok maar hier en daar hangen wat dingen los. Ik ga er in ieder geval in juli es terug voor een nachtje.'
