'We hebben een fijne tijd gehad. Jammer dat de kamer verouderd en niet schoon was. Eten was heerlijk! En het personeel was top! Zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vooral voor de manager Babs een hele dikke pluim!'

'Well kept pub with separate accommodation block. The room was large, comfortable, exceptionally clean and in really good repair. The pub itself is also very pleasant, with a good menu and choice of beer. The whole experience made better by the very friendly, helpful staff. '

'Nice hotel and very friendly people/owners. We came very late from the boat in Harwich. It was very easy to find the hotel. The owners help is to find a good restaurant. The breakfast was very good and made with passion. '

'My friend and I had a wonderful stay! Great value with the large yummy breakfast cooked for us. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time to enjoy it more and chat more with Stan, but we had a morning flight to catch. They were very accommodating to our departure time. They also provided a great dinner recommendation where the locals go.'

'A beautiful place to stay. Our room was so clean and bright with wonderful facilities. A nice quiet location but near enough to the town. Our hosts were great and the breakfast was superb. I can't wait to visit again.'

'Allison and cliff are very friendly and great cooks. The breafull English breakfast was outstanding. The rooms and home was so comfortable. I enjoyed being a about one hour outside of london and being able to explore the countryside. Cambridge. Castles, the north sra, and many other great sites.'

"The staff is amazing, the room was very nice. Great location on a 5 minute walk from the airport. Great food and nice bar. The only think i did not like was the smell of sigarettes/sigars on the 4th floor.( the hallway). I told the staff about this but i smelled it al the three days....i think the smell is in the carpet or the wall or something but they should look into that for the future. Overall great stay ,nice people, good food and great location. "

Good hotel, shuttle drive needed

"The hotel is nice and the room is quiet and clean. A bit outdated but the room rate is related to that. Shuttle: You need to take a shuttle which costs 4 gbp per person per ride, it only goes every 30 minutes. This means you need to plan this additional step which is hard in arrival. This ride only takes 5 min "
